The ever debonair Robert Vaughn plays Lee. Hes on the run when recruited and going through a crisis of confidence in his abilities. Hes all show and no tell with his practised cynicism cracking under the pressure. For the remake I have gone for Jude Law who specializes in handsome yet brittle characters like in The Talented Mr Ripley and in recent years has shown a willingness to play supporting roles.
