Much like Bruce Willis, two-time Oscar nominee John Travolta has been releasing most of his movies straight to stores or online, with his last major theatrical appearance being in 2012's miserable Oliver Stone thriller Savages.
Though he had a brief uptick last year with a supporting appearance in Ti West's western In a Valley of Violence, prior to that his last acclaimed movie was 2007's musical remake Hairspray.
At least Travolta has enjoyed praise for his work as lawyer Robert Shapiro on TV drama American Crime Story, but his movie work has been dead in the water for quite some time.
