Well, it was only a matter of time, wasn't it? The world has been long-awaiting the inevitable American International Pictures cinematic universe ever since... Wait a minute. No, they haven't. What is this madness? American International Pictures, for those who don't know (that's everyone, then), own the rights to a ton of "infamous" B-movies. B-movies, by the way, with titles like Girls In Prison, Viking Women And The Sea Serpent, The Brain Eaters, She-Creature, Teenage Caveman, Reform School Girl, The Undead, War Of The Colossal Beast, The Cool And The Crazy, and The Day The World Ended. The plan, apparently, is to craft a cinematic universe "with a big recurring cast of antiheroes, monsters and bad girls" using this mostly-1950s haul of travesties, which sounds downright nutty in its scope and - to be totally honest - its concept. What's more, the feverish writer behind Snakes On A Plane has reportedly penned 10 interconnected movies already, proving that a) he's totally mental and b) has way too much time on his hands.
