After ten days in theaters, Jurassic World's box office total stood at an incredible $402.8m, making it one of the twenty highest-grossing domestic releases of all time in just a week and a half! The movie became the fastest in history to reach the $100m, $150m, $200m, $250m, $350m and $400m mark in domestic receipts, and which movie did it take each of these records from? Jurassic World is tracking almost $30m ahead of Marvel's superhero team up at the same stage, and with The Avengers topping out at $623.4m by the end of its theatrical run, Colin Trevorrow's fourth entry in the franchise is potentially on target to overtake Titanic's final haul of $658.7m to become the second biggest domestic earner in history, behind only Avatar's seemingly-uncatchable $760.5m.
