7 Comic Book Characters Who Seriously Need Their Own Movies
6. Harley Quinn
Quinn's popularity is growing all the time thanks to the Arkham Games, her growing use in the animated shows and even her own spin-off comic. But it's even more down to how fascinating she is as a character, and I think a movie for this young lady isn't as far away from the box office as you'd think. After all how do you pass up the opportunity to make a movie about the Joker's girlfriend? That said, Harley is so much more than just the dim-witted sidekick of Mr. J. Theoretically, you could take the Joker completely out of the flick and still have a lot of ideas knocking around - it might even improve it: who wants to sit through an hour and a half of just Joker and Harley sitting around the house with Harley getting a black eye every so often? As far as casting goes, Alison Brie's a popular choice among my cohorts, while I think Taylor Momsen would also be a compelling candidate. What the story would be I have no idea, but if there's no Quinn in the Batman Reboot a stand-alone Harley movie is an absolute must.
