4. Al Pacino Shouts

It used to be the case that Al Pacino was one of the most legitimately intense actors of all time with a flair for playing unhinged or volatile characters with a hair-trigger that would see them flip at any moment. Inevitably, that meant he spent a lot of his time shouting angrily.

Now, Pacino has morphed into something of a self-parody, replacing the subtleties of his earlier performances with a more grotesque approach that usually just devolves into him yelling. Without the balance of complexity, he just comes off as if he's trying to redefine what intense performance is by cranking the volume up a few notches.

Still, at least he's dependable in his shouting...
