7 Things We Want To See In The Future Deadpool Sequels

4. His Uneasy Partnership With Cable

On paper there couldn€™t be a much more disparate pairing of heroes in the Marvel Universe than Deadpool and Cable. One of them, Nathan Summers, is the time travelling son of two of the most famous mutants in existance (Cyclops and a clone of Jean Grey) who takes on the mission of safeguarding the entire future of the mutant race singlehandedly and the other is, well, Deadpool. An idiot. It shouldn€™t work, but the deadpan cable and madcap Deadpool actually provide a neat counterbalance to each other that allows for some genuine camaraderie and intricate plotting. One of the recurring criticisms of Fox€™s X-Men is that Cable hasn€™t been introduced yet, especially since time travel has been established, so now would be the perfect time to bring Cable to life in one form or another. He€™s also the original leader of X-Force, further providing Fox with an even easier way to set up that particular potential spin-off.
