What is so different about it? Well, for starters, the titular zombie is played by acclaimed actor and world famous comedian Billy Connolly. How often does the role of a zombie get taken by such a major talent? But then there's also the fact that the movie takes place in a 1950s-esq alternate universe in which radiation has turned the dead in to zombies and the zombies in question have been domesticated. It's an enjoyable little movie with a fresh approach to zombies and has generally received a positive response. It currently holds a 70% rating on RottenTomatoes.com. Why have you probably never seen it? Despite boasting a stellar cast that includes the likes of the aforementioned Billy Connolly, Tim Blake Nelson and Carrie-Anne Moss, the film only got a limited release, earning just $304,533 in the United States and a total of $426,224 worldwide, with domestic DVD sales of $2.95million. It simply wasn't that big of a movie.
