American Harry Potter fans were buzzing when J.K. Rowling released information on an American Wizarding school. It caused a bit of controversy when it was discovered that Rowling borrowed quite a bit from Native American culture when creating the houses for the school.

Many critics of this choice are forgetting that American culture is based on stealing from the Native Americans. Should we actually get a glimpse inside of the school, we could see how Native American culture affects the way the school is run, the way the students are taught magic, and most importantly addressing the fact that the school is based in said culture.

The best move Rowling can make here is to take it even a step further and perhaps make the Headmaster Native American his/herself.

They have mentioned the school in passing during the Fantastic Beast films. If they show us the school, it could give us an added layer of insight into the culture of the American Wizarding World.
