One of the most exciting things about Harry Potter prequel Fantastic Beasts And Where To Find Them is that it's set in America, not England. During the original movies we met plenty of British witches and wizards, but we never really got a glimpse of the wider wizarding world.

So far, all we know is that parts of the film are set in New York in the 1920s, but it's been speculated that Fantastic Beasts is going to explore the American equivalent of Hogwarts in substantial depth. Specifically, the school will be fronting a sort of magic civil rights movement, battling against prejudice witches and wizards are facing from a sinister muggle group named the New Salem Philanthropic Society.

The society in question views magic-users as satanic, and thinks the only way the earth can be free of them is to murder them. Looks like rampaging escaped monsters will be the least of Eddie Redmayne worries.
