8 Great Hero Vs Hero Movies That Should Happen After Batman Vs Superman

1. The Avengers Vs The Justice League

This entire storyline (which occurred between September 2003 and May 2004 in the pages of an epic crossover comic book) would make for an excellent (although extremely unlikely and legally implausible) movie. It would be a veritable fanboy's dream to see two such iconic teams of superheroes from different franchises going at it against each other. The storyline saw two powerful entities - Krona (DC) and the Grandmaster (Marvel) - playing a cosmic game in which they summoned teams of champions from each of their respective universes to participate in a universal treasure hunt to retrieve a series of artefacts that they have scattered across the two universes. Whichever team gathers the most items will win. The first actual fight between the two teams comes in "JLA/Avengers #2", with various heroes battling against each other to get their hands on items such as the Ultimate Nullifier, the Orb of Ra, the Evil Eye of Avalon and the Spear of Destiny. The epic final battle for the Cosmic Cube takes place in the Savage Land in the Marvel universe and, ultimately, the Justice League are declared the winners due to Captain America forfeiting the battle for the good of the multiverse. Let's be honest €“ whatever the circumstances, any potential JLA Vs The Avengers battle on the big screen would be brilliant and would send comic book fans crazy the world over (imagine Henry Cavill Vs Chris Hemsworth, Jeremy Renner Vs Ben Affleck etc). Sadly though, as I've already covered, this is virtually impossible thanks to the complications involved in getting both company's characters in the same movie. And there you have it; Eight potentially great hero versus hero movies that should happen after Batman Vs Superman. Do you agree that these would make great movies?
