Brie Larson is probably the most surprising of the bunch, because she's not just, like, an actor who occasionally sings in a movie when the situation requires it. She had a full on pop music career in the mid-2000s that she has somehow managed to hide from the world during her transition to serious actress. Because you see, she went from being a child actor (remember, she was one of the infamous Six Chicks in 13 Going on 30) to having a large supporting role in 21 Jump Street as Jonah Hill's possibly underage teen love interest. But what was she doing in between, you may wonder? Apparently, the answer is that she was channeling Avril Lavigne and creating a pop punk, "I'm not like those other girls" image for herself in the music industry. Although her debut album Finally Out of P.E. didn't sell particularly well, Brie Larson can probably take solace in the fact that in a couple months she will most likely have the words Oscar-winner permanently affixed to the front of her name.
