5. We're Already Getting Another Joker Film
While Bat-saturation is very much still a thing, we're entering a whole different kind of saturation here - of the Joker variety.
Seriously, the guy is everywhere; games, TV, comics, film - the character's presence is inescapable. And while it might make sense, given the villain's reputation as Batman's greatest enemy, there are so many other rogues out there waiting to get a film of their own. For all the stick Gotham gets for its interpretation of the DCU, at least it can't be said it lacks variety, with both Scarecrow and Solomon Grundy getting a nod this season. The DCEU would do well to learn from it.
Besides, that other Joker film - y'know, the one with Scorcese involved - already sounds a great deal better than whatever WB have planned with this.
