Thanks to Batman V Superman: Dawn Of Justice we now know who'd win a fight between the Dark Knight and the Man of Steel (resolutely Batman, but he's too much of a Mummy's boy to finish the job), but since the release of Zack Snyder's aggravating showdown flick the battle has still raged over who'd win in a fight between Batman and Batman.

I speak, of course, of the debate over which Batman actor is better; Christian Bale or Ben Affleck. And it really is down to these two - nobody would ever stand up for Val Kilmer or (shudder) George Clooney, Adam West is in a league of his own and Michael Keaton could never quite escape being in a Tim Burton movie.

So who wins? The hoarse madman who barks orders or the metal-suited psycho who has a bunch of terrifying recurring nightmares?

Well, if it came to fisticuffs, Bale's version wouldn't stand a chance - Affleck is ruthlessly efficient and would have no qualms just gunning his counterpart down - but when comparing the attributes of the characters from a more, let's say measured, standpoint, things are a little different.
