Like many films on this list, Daredevil was far from a great effort, but it had some good ideas, and one of the bright spots was Colin Farrell's amusingly campy performance as classic villain Bullseye. After his final confrontation with Daredevil, he isn't killed, and so we're left thinking, "Um, is he just gonna lie down and take that?" Of course not. Cut to a bandaged, severely injured Bullseye in a hospital bed under armed guard, being bothered by a fly that keeps buzzing in his face. What does Bullseye do? He throws a syringe at the fly, pinning it to the wall and killing it, demonstrating that though he's going to need some time to recover, he's not out for the count, and will be a viable threat in Matt Murdock's future defending Hell's Kitchen. It's a light-hearted way to set up a sequel, though not one we're ever going to be able to see, it seems; despite the film posting decent enough grosses, production on a sequel stalled, Ben Affleck swore the project off, and even attempts to get the property rebooted (in gritty fashion at the promising hands of Joe Carnahan) fell to pieces. Daredevil, it seems, is dead in the water. Which post-credit tease that never came to fruition is your favourite? Let us know in the comments below.
