8 Upcoming Comic Book Movies You Should Be Concerned About

8. Deadpool 2

A few months ago, Deadpool 2 was the least of anyone's worries - but how quickly things have changed.

It all started when director Tim Miller departed the project, followed swiftly by composer Junkie XL, with the latter leaving as a show of solidarity toward the former. Having two major creative minds drop out of a project is never good, but it's even worse when it could affect the whole production.

Is Deadpool 2's entire crew split directly down the middle, with Team Miller on one side and Team Reynolds on the other? Trying to piece together a movie amidst a miniature civil war will surely produce disastrous results, and it's troubling to see the creators struggling to work together.

Another point of concern is the fact that director shake-ups for superhero sequels often equals poor results. Joel Schumacher on Batman Forever, Brett Ratner on X-Men: The Last Stand and Jeff Wadlow on Kick-Ass 2, to name a few - could Deadpool 2 follow suit?

The movie does have a lot going for it, but the fact that Reynolds seems to answer to no-one coupled with Fox's numerous X-Men duds and creative minds leaving faster than water from a sponge, does not bode well for the final product.
