8 Upcoming Movies Everybody Already Hates

3. Fifty Shades Freed

The Hate: The first two movies were terrible, which doesn't bode well for this one.

Is anyone really looking forward to next year's Fifty Shades Freed? After the first two films in the series earned a combined 34 percent on Rotten Tomatoes and the second made way less than its predecessor, it seems like both audiences and critics have had enough.

The numbers speak for themselves. From the first movie to the sequel, the Rotten Tomatoes score dropped by 14 percent, from 24 to ten - which is staggeringly bad. Fifty Shades Of Grey made $571 million worldwide in 2015, but its sequel made $378 million just two years later. Interest, across the board, has waned.

The first movie was an interesting prospect, even if you weren't a fan of the source material. How would they handle the sex scenes? Would it resonate with audiences? At this point, we don't even have those questions to keep us engaged.

We know it'll be another poorly-scripted, watered down, Twilight-level romance with a hastily cobbled together soundtrack, with the film's only purpose being to close off the franchise while there are still a few fans left.

You can't really blame people for hating this one ahead of time; we haven't been given any reason not to.
