The latest entry into The Conjuring Universe was recently back in Atlanta for reshoots, as indicated by social media posts from actress McKenna Grace.
Grace will play the 10-year-old daughter of demonologists Ed and Lorraine Warren (Patrick Wilson and Vera Farmiga), who becomes the next target for Annabelle.
Principal photography took place from October to December of last year.
What They Mean
Reshoots have been common throughout The Conjuring movies and they've rarely been a cause for concern.
Director James Wan added the iconic Nun character Valak to The Conjuring 2 during additional photography, and with Wan producing every film in this universe, it's safe to say he seems to run a pretty tight ship.
There is one question mark, however, and that's first-time director Gary Dauberman, best known for writing the two previous Annabelle films and also co-writing It.
But even then, these films tend to follow a pretty simple, easily imitated stylistic framework, so there's probably not much reason to be concerned.
And even if it's a bit of a mess, there's no way it doesn't make mad bank at the box office regardless (the first two films made over $550 million collectively).
