Okay okay okay, so we've spent a lot of time looking at the Jedis and good guys that are said to be populating Star Wars Episode VII. But what about the Dark Side of the Force? Or just the regular jerks that are going to be menacing our heroes this time around? Like we said, the Empire were pretty much wiped out as a result of the end of Return Of The Jedi, but destroying the top of an evil hierarchy doesn't mean that the whole organisation would just immediately fall apart. What if somebody else swanned in and took control? Is that the role that either Adam Driver or Max Von Sydow is going to be taking? Well, erm, we don't know. What we do know, however, is that the Stormtroopers will be returning! The other day we had purportedly official concept art from the new film leak online, depicting a few variations on the classic Stormtrooper helmet. There's the slight redesign above along with a new twist on those hooded Hoth uniforms they boasted at the beginning of The Empire Strikes Back, fanning the flames that the ice planet will be appearing in the film too. Neither of which will probably improve the Clone Troopers' aim, but - speaking of which - the rumour has it that the Snowtroopers picture below will be wielding flamethrowers in whatever icy location they find themselves in. Which must be a good way of cutting through the frost! Or through elderly Jedis... So that suggests they'll be a fair few Stormtroopers left over, who weren't caught up in either the destruction of the second Death Star or the surprisingly vicious traps set by the Ewoks on Endor during Return Of The Jedi. In fact they'll be a fair few 'troopers pottering about, if the internet rumour mill is to be believed, as these aren't the only two variations on the classic get-up we'll be seeing on screen. Apparently there's also going to be a chrome-plated Stormtrooper whose unique colour scheme signifies that they have the ability to turn invisible. Stormtroopers with cloaking devices? Makes a crazy kind of sense!
