Good. Are we all on the same page now? Great. To be fair, it's not just that tunnel scene that should be held accountable for invading children's nightmares like an extra pushy Freddie Krueger. The entire movie is laced with sinister undertones, thanks to a uniquely psychotic performance from Gene Wilder as the titular candy magnate.

To make matters worse, there have been frequent reports that some of the children weren't "acting" much during some key scenes, as there were some very real (though thankfully minor) injuries that occurred on set.
