Another Marvel hit to sink your claws into.

It has been a long time coming, but Black Panther is almost upon us. After waiting since being first teased on a map in Iron Man 2 back in 2010, T'Challa's first solo outing, set to be the 18th instalment in the MCU, will hit cinemas in early 2018.

With Chadwick Boseman reprising his role as T'Challa, now king of Wakanda, being backed by Creed director Ryan Coogler and an incredible cast featuring Michael B. Jordan, Lupita Nyong'o, and Forest Whitaker to name just a few, audiences and comic book fans everywhere are eagerly anticipating seeing Wakanda brought to life.

While there are certain things we know about this movie already, Marvel's marketing machine has done a much better job of keeping Black Panther's secrets than with other recent movies - Spider-Man Homecoming and Thor: Ragnarok in particular.

So going into this movie there are still a lot of missing puzzle pieces to speculate over. For comic book fans, this speculation is almost as fun as actually seeing the movie itself, and for all the wild theories and rumours out in the wild already there are some suggestions you can probably take to the bank...

10. Zuri Will Die

Zuri, set to be portrayed by Forest Whitaker, is a spiritual leader of Wakanda, and a fierce warrior. As one of King T'Chaka's most trusted advisors and closest friends he has watched T'Challa grow into a king, and now serves him the same way he served his father.

Director Ryan Coogler has described Zuri as the Obi Wan Kenobi of Black Panther, and we all know how that ended. While Whitaker's character will serve as a guide and mentor for T'Challa, his death before the end of the movie is inevitable.

If we are to take Coogler at his word, we may see Zuri's death, most likely at the hands of Michael B. Jordan's Erik Killmonger, come as one final lesson for T'Challa. A sacrifice to help further the king on his path.

As the last tie T'Challa has to his father, paired with the incredible acting chops of both Forest Whitaker and Chadwick Boseman, this will undoubtedly be the most emotionally charged scene throughout the entire movie, reminiscent of Yondu's death in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 2.
