9 Most Anticipated Comic Con 2017 Announcements
The biggest trailers, announcements and more.
Every year the major players from across the pop culture spectrum converge in San Diego for the biggest event on their calendar, and the fans hold their breath.
From major Hollywood studios to leading games developers, they'll all be in attendance at Comic-Con International 2017, jostling to outdo each other with headline-stealing announcements and explosive trailers.
Hall H is a haven for movie fans, regardless of whether they're there in full costume, with star-studded panels and first-look trailer launches taking place each year.
Titans clashed there in 2016 when Warner Bros debuted clips from Justice League, Wonder Woman and Kong: Skull Island, while Marvel Studios countered with sneak peeks at Thor: Ragnarok, Spider-Man: Homecoming and Guardians of the Galaxy 2.
Both camps will be fighting equally hard for the spotlight this year, alongside dozens of other films and TV studios, gaming companies and comic book publishers eager to show off what they've been working on over the last year.
So here are nine of the biggest trailers and announcements to expect at Comic-Con International 2017 when it comes to town between 20 and 23 July.
9. More Justice League Footage
We've already gotten a good look at how Zack Snyder's Justice League is shaping up, complete with awkward hero banter and poorly-rendered Cyborg.
But given that the superhero team-up movie is due to hit in November, expect Warner Bros to push it hard at Comic-Con with the release of another trailer.
Reports from multiple sources online suggest the next Justice League trailer will offer a first look at the resurrected Superman, rocking the black outfit and mullet he sported when he rose from the grave in the Return of Superman comic book event.
Sticking with the DC cinematic universe, it's also possible that Warner will give us a first glimpse at the Aquaman solo movie, which is far along enough in development for official stills to have emerged from the depths, so why not footage in motion?
It's expected to be a busy show for Warner given that they also have Blade Runner 2049 to push - expect to see more of the Harrison Ford sequel in San Diego.
