9 Movie Bloopers You Didn’t Spot In The Final Cut

9. Birdman On A Wire - Birdman

There's a beautiful scene in Alejandro Gonzalez Inarritu's Birdman where Michael Keaton's faded actor Riggan Thomson has a daydream about flying over New York City, a free as the creature his alter ego is named after.

This poignant sequence is let down only slightly when Thomson lands outside of the theatre and a crew member disguised as an extra subtly unhooks the wire the production team used to propel Keaton through the air.

Inarritu and his creative team made the character fly through a combination of old-school effects and digital wizardry, using technology to remove the wire afterwards. That undercover crew member did the rest, not quite sneakily enough.
