Considering that we've seen the debuting Black Panther standing alongside Iron Man's team in the marketing for Captain America: Civil War, it came as something of a surprise that actor Chadwick Boseman revealed Panther's allegiance to Tony Stark isn't quite that simple. Talking to Empire, he said, " not on anybodys team. Its my political mission to tame it and get it under control." So, Panther is only on Iron Man's team to bring the situation, presumably pertaining to Bucky as we see the two engaged in a chase sequence in the trailers, to an end. By the end of the film, Panther will probably be off doing his own thing again, at least until his solo movie rolls around in early 2018, which will probably provide the direct lead-in to Avengers: Infinity War.
