Thor: Ragnarok starts shooting later on in the year, and though we know that Loki will be returning, while The Hulk will be in it and Cate Blanchett is being locked in to play a villain, we're still not sure how many of the supporting players from the prior movies will end up appearing. Well, we can scratch one off the list now, as Stellan Skarsgard confirmed that he has not been contacted about Ragnarok, and has an inkling as to why. He said, "I have a five-film deal with them, and they still have one option...Thor 3 is not on my slate, but maybe the next Avengers." It would certainly make sense to hold Selvig's final appearance for the most epic Avengers movies, and this may suggest that Ragnarok will be moving away from the Darcy and Jane Foster characters also, though of course, we don't know for sure yet.
