2. Insidious: Chapter 4 Is Another Prequel

It's not much of a surprise that Insidious: Chapter 4 is being fast-tracked for a release in October 2017, considering that Chapter 3 made more than 11x its budget at the box office.

That said, we now know that Chapter 4 will once again be a prequel to the first two movies while taking place after the third. The series' secret weapon, the terrific Lin Shaye who plays parapsychologist Elise Rainier, will be returning after the character came out of retirement at the end of Chapter 3, to help deal with whatever supernatural threat emerges.

While only the first of these movies was particularly good, it's certainly better to have Shaye in the picture as much as possible, regardless of the time setting.
