9 Questions That Need To Be Answered About The Doctor Who Movie

Feature film expected "within 8 years".

By Dan Butler /

After years of fevered speculation and anticipation, Doctor Who is finally heading to the big screen! Hurrah! And guess what? Nobody has any idea who will be in it, who will make it, what it'll be about or when it's even coming! Hurr... no, wait... what?! Rumours that TV's favourite Time Lord will be taking the mighty leap to the big screen have been ongoing since the show's grand return in 2005 (and even for a while before that) and yet more fuel was added to the fire recently when leaked emails between the BBC and Sony Pictures revealed that they were planning to make one "within 8 years". It's certainly intriguing to see concrete evidence that the producers will be joining forces with a reputable Hollywood company for the feature-length film and it's safe to say that a big screen outing has been a long time in the making. But how much do we actually know about the movie in question? It's the cinematic escapade its fans have been waiting for and, while we're seemingly no closer to it happening, we're closer than we've ever been before (if that makes any timey-wimey sense!) so now is surely as good a time as any to ponder over some important questions that need to be answered. Luckily for you, we've got 9 of 'em right here...
