2. Will Ferrell Doesn't Show Up Until The Third Act
One of the most promising aspects of the movie's trailers was the re-appearance of Will Ferrell's superb villain Jacobim Mugatu, who turns out to be the real villain of the piece. However, if you were expecting Ferrell to have as substantial a part as in the original film, you're in for some bad news. Ferrell doesn't show up until around the hour mark, and so his screen time is only about half an hour. That's not to say that he doesn't make it count, but the sheer ferocious pace of the film means that he's much more of a supporting player in the fixture this time rather than an equal to Derek and Hansel. Still, he perks the film up when it needs it, but you'll likely be left wanting more of him.
