4. The Fly

A remake of a remake, and a reboot of a series which has lain dormant since 1989? Get the swatter!

If Sleight director J D Dillard thinks he can top David Cronenberg's vision and recapture the pathos and sense of tragedy of the 1986 Fly, he's madder than Seth Brundle towards the end of his metamorphosis.

The original Fly has already been remade, reimagined and repackaged to perfection, so deconstructing it for a second time is at best unnecessary, and at worst sacrilege of the highest order.
