Age Of Ultron: 10 Concerns You Should Have About The Avengers Sequel

8. Quicksilver Living Up To His X-Men Movie Counterpart

We have a highly unique situation in this movie, due to the fact that Quicksilver can be used by both Fox and Marvel Studios (thanks to his connections to both the X-Men and the Avengers in the comic books) and, as such, he has actually already appeared in a movie - X-Men: Days of Future Past - played by Evan Peters. The character went down a storm with audiences, with one particular scene - in which he helped to rescue Magneto from a prison cell beneath the Pentagon - stealing the entire movie and captivating viewers with its creativity and exquisite execution. Comparisons are obviously going to be made between Peters' and Taylor-Johnson's versions and, if this one isn't as good, it doesn't matter how well the latter actor does, the performance will be looked down upon. We do naturally have our doubts that it will be as good, given how brilliantly the character was portrayed in Days of Future Past. Essentially, the Age of Ultron version needs to be spectacular in order to impress us.
