4. Chiren Gets Her Organs Harvested

In the movie's least surprising character arc, Chiren of course decides to help Alita rather than bring her to Vector.

She's dumb enough to admit this fact to Vector, though, and as a result this confessional is the last time we see her alive.

During Alita's climactic confrontation with Vector, he reveals that Chiren's organs have been harvested, opening up a cryogenic cabinet where her brain, eyes, hands and other body parts are being kept fresh for Nova's future experiments.

Well, that was horrifying.
