This trailer gave us our first look at the pre-Electro Max Dillon, who it turns out is a gullible lab geek with a comb-over that rivals that of Christian Bale's in American Hustle. He looks like someone right out of Revenge of the Nerds, and has a bit of an unhealthy obsession with Spider-Man. That obsession is fueled by being saved by Peter, who calls him his "Eyes and ears out here." That's probably a line that Spidey gives to all of his talkative citizens in distress, but Dillon takes it as fact and can't believe that Spider-Man knows his name. This, in turn, plays part in another important part of Dillon's story...
