In the Amazing Spider-Man 2, actress Felicity Jones played the role of Felicia Hardy. She was presented as being nothing more than Harry Osborns personal assistant, but it seems more than likely that we will see the character further developed in future movies in the Amazing Spider-Man franchise. Anyone who is familiar with the comic books will know that Felicia Hardy is actually the alter-ego of Black Cat - something of an anti-heroine who is also the daughter of a world-famous cat burglar and who follows in her fathers footsteps, trains herself extensively in a number of martial arts and combines her criminal activities with the occasional act of heroism. On that note, in future movies, she will probably play a similar role to Anne Hathaways Selina Kyle AKA Catwoman in The Dark Knight Rises (coincidentally, Anne Hathaway was due to play Felicia Hardy in the Sam Raimi Spider-Man franchise, had there been a fourth movie), whereby she might be someone who Spider-Man tries to stop when it comes to her burglaries, but someone whose help he appreciates (and requires) when it comes to fighting villainous groups like the Sinister Six.
