6. The Story Is Fascinatingly Ridiculous

Though there are certainly debates to be had about the verisimilitude of this movie to the reality of Seal's life, the absurd insanity of the major beats nevertheless prove consistently fascinating and frequently hilarious.

Seal begins as a simple contraband smuggler and his situation only keeps escalating as he finds himself transporting drugs, weapons and even people, all in the name of various interests that will pay Seal handsomely for his incredible piloting skills.

The continual one-upping of the situation ensures the film's pace never wavers, and just when it feels like it might start settling into a routine, a barmy new wrinkle will inevitably be added to Barry's adventure.
