3. It's WAY Too Long

The most obvious complaint about the film is that it's sorely in need of another pass in the editing room. 130 minutes isn't a particularly indecent run-time for a movie, but Evans really makes you feel the length, particularly in the rather slow, even plodding first half.

Evans repeats a lot of the same points over and over again in the stead of building suspense, which while effective to a point, also feels a tad overdone in that opening hour.

There's clearly a tightly-paced 110-minute film somewhere in here, but without a studio executive begging Evans to tighten things up, the end result feels a little on the over-indulgent side.
