In a cute nod back to his work on The Conjuring franchise, James Wan included a blink-and-you'll-miss-it horror Easter egg for fans.

When Mera takes Arthur to the galleon safehouse in Atlantis, if you look closely in an establishing shot outside the vessel, you can see the horror franchise's iconic doll Annabelle resting on the ocean floor.

Hilariously, Wan himself has even joked about the Easter egg in interviews, and proposed his own insane theory about the connection. "Maybe Patrick Wilson is really Ed Warren pretending to be King Orm?"

Forget the DCEU. James Wan Cinematic Universe, anyone?
