Unless you subjected yourself to What To Expect When Youre Expecting earlier this year, you probably know Rodrigo Santoro as either Xerxes in 300, or as the largely malined, but thankfully short-lived character Paulo, on season 3 of LOST. (Though he was the less annoying half of the couple he belonged to.) Trust me though, back home in his native Brazil, Santoro is a huge star. Hes also the first one on this list who actually looks like Desmond a little. I mean, I cant be the only one who sees Desmond as having a Latin, or Mediterranean complexion. Blonde surfer guy, he is not. And neither is Rodrigo Santoro, and thats why I think he would make a fine Desmond. He'd need to work on his accent a little, but that's what dialect coaches are for.
