1. The Pacing Could Be Better

Tying into the complaints about the messy script and needless plot structure, this is a much, much longer movie than it needs to be, clocking in at a not-inherently-long 115 minutes, but frequently making the audience feel it with its lurches in narrative momentum and oft-lengthy gaps between action sequences.

With either a plot restructure or just shaving a few of its more indulgent moments off, the end result wouldn't drag quite so much, especially during its wholly over-extended third act, which contains most of the excess fat.
