7. The Title Is "Avengers: Annihilation"
One of the most intriguing enigmas surrounding Avengers 4 is its title, which remains under wraps despite the movie being less than six months away from release.
The Russo brothers initially stated that it couldn't be revealed until post-Infinity War due to its spoilerific nature, yet almost half-a-year following the film's release, fans are still none-the-wiser.
Joe Russo previously stated that "Avengers: Forever" was the closest guess so far, while cinematographer Trent Opaloch's resume listed the movie as "Avengers: End Game", but recent reports and the trailer rumours both point to the title in fact being "Avengers: Annihilation."
This will of course raise eyebrows among comic book fans considering it's also the namesake of a totally different comic arc, but the MCU has a history of borrowing superficially from far corners of Marvel lore, so that doesn't make it any less likely of a title.
