10. Sofia Boutella Will Play Death

The Rumour

Thanks to a rumour out of seemingly nowhere (well, Twitter, but that's almost the same thing), The Mummy star Sofia Boutella has been cast to play Death in Avengers 4...

This is despite the fact that Thanos' plan had nothing to do with courting Death as he had in the comics. But maybe there's more to Thanos' intentions than it appears initially...?

Response

Cleaving Thanos from his principles (no matter how tinged by death) would be a bit of a disservice to the character, but it would still be intriguing to see Death appear as a personified character and for him to be intrigued by her presence.

it would also be a clever inversion to have Death play a part in stopping Thanos, rather than inspiring him.
