Avengers 5: 10 Possible Storylines It Would Be Awesome To See In The MCU

10. Breakout

It's fair to say that Earth's Mightiest Heroes were "disassembled" in Avengers: Endgame, so taking inspiration from the storyline that introduced the New Avengers might be a smart move for the fifth instalment of the franchise.

Featuring a massive breakout at The Raft (in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, that's the prison "Team Cap" were kept in during Captain America: Civil War), an unlikely team of heroes made up of characters like Captain America, Wolverine, Luke Cage, and Spider-Man came together to stop the escaping villains from causing chaos in New York City.

This leads to a confrontation with Electro and a trip to the Savage Land, and there are lots of elements here which could be adapted for the big screen.

There would definitely need to be some changes in order to make it feel bigger and more epic, but providing Marvel Studios continues jailing its bad guys rather than killing them, this has a ton of potential, and could lead to the long overdue return of some familiar faces, like Tim Roth's The Abomination.
