6. The Blob Eating Janet Van Dyne (The Wasp) In Ultimatum
As if things couldn't get worse for The Wasp, after being an abused woman and all, her Ultimate Universe counterpart got the short end of the stick in the poorly received Ultimatum. As Magneto is turning everything topsy turvy with Thor's Hammer and finally inverting the world's magnetosphere (yes, that is a thing), the world goes crazy. Amid rioting, many are dying, and while trying to stop death and destruction, the Wasp has an unfortunate run-in with the Blob, who decides to eat her alive. Literally. He eats her. Alive. From the ribs and in. It was a graphic and also gratuitous comics moment that haunts many readers to this day - not because the Wasp is so beloved, but because it's a disgusting moment. Not only should this never be in a movie, but it really shouldn't have ever been in anyone's imagination.
