Remember when second trailers were inevitably a disappointment? They used to be the filler, recutting material that was already basically released to tell the same teasing story in a different way. Thankfully, that doesn't always happen any more - and good riddance - which Marvel have just proved rather wonderfully with a second strong trailer for the upcoming Avengers sequel. It's not quite as Ultron focussed as that first breathlessly beautiful trailer, but there's the same haunting musical refrain and an even more intriguing look at how Ultron will specifically tear the Avengers apart "from the inside". Needless to say, it's lip-bitingly exciting, and though you have to worry that there might be a few too many balls in the air, if they pull this off the implications for Phase 3 are going to be huge. Despite the fact that the trailers have been quite clever in their resistance of spoilerific details (preferring instead to allow viewers to fill in the dots) there is so much going on, and so many ties to comic lore that it's possible to piece together a good portion of the puzzle and "spoil" some of the bigger moments and plot details involved in Joss Whedon's epic-looking sequel...
