3. Katherine Langford Makes An Appearance
The Rumour
This barely qualifies as a rumour considering it was widely reported as fact across the web and was quite reasonably expected to be true - that 13 Reasons Why star Katherine Langford would appear in the film as a character whose identity was kept firmly under wraps.
Rumours generally pointed to Langford playing the grown-up daughter of a major Avenger. Given that she was seen sporting strawberry blonde locks on social media around the time she shot her part, many believed she'd be playing the daughter of Tony Stark and Pepper Potts (Gwyneth Paltrow).
Slightly less-reasonable theories, however, declared she might be playing the superhero Moondragon, or even more absurdly, Lady Death herself.
The Truth
In one of Endgame's most baffling mysteries so far, Langford does not appear in the final cut of the film.
Given that she was widely reported to be shooting a small role late last year, and Langford never came out to deny she would be in the movie, it's pretty safe to assume she did film something, but the Russos sadly left it on the cutting room.
We'll likely hear more about this in the coming days or weeks, but it's probable that the part was cut for time, and clearly, the role wasn't vital to the overall narrative.
