8. Thor's Fat Suit Weighed 60-70 Pounds & His Voice Was Subtly Different
Thor (Chris Hemsworth) also gets his own featurette, which focuses mostly on the process of transforming the Asgardian into his depressed, overweight new self.
Hilarious behind-the-scenes footage shows Chris Hemsworth being fitted for the suit, requiring him to awkwardly shimmy in order for the suit to settle around his real body.
Hemsworth said of the experience, "We had a big sort of fat suit which I think was sort of 60 or 70 pounds. It was the hottest I've ever been."
The actor also revealed another, decidedly less obvious physical change the character went through. He said, "I have these things that go in the mouth to kind of plump out my cheeks a bit, which sort of had a little effect on the voice as well, but probably in a good way. It was a different Thor."
