6. Will Peggy Carter Return?
While Black Widow and Captain America (Chris Evans) are talking, we catch a brief glimpse of one of them holding Cap's famous compass, which of course contains a picture of Peggy Carter (Hayley Atwell). Some fans believe this could be foreshadowing the re-appearance of Cap's departed old flame.
Peggy of course passed away in Captain America: Civil War, but given Endgame's rumoured focus on time travel, there's certainly a ripe opportunity for Steve Rogers to get a tender reunion with the one that got away.
This shot could simply be a tease to get fans talking, for sure, but if Cap gets a fleeting moment with Peggy in the past or even ends up back in his own time for good, it's sure to be an affecting moment (if it happens).
And one more thing - does that look like Black Widow's hand to anyone else? And if so, why is she opening Cap's compass? Did something happen to him?
