6. Thor's Dead Realm Sub-Plot

The Leak

Whether they're all from the same initial "leak" or not, there are a couple of suggestions out there that Thor's sub-plot will see him heading to the realm of the dead - Valhalla, which we already know exists - to help boost the Avengers' forces.

He will apparently meet Odin there and arrange an army of fallen heroes, bargaining his own soul for the assistance (and condemning himself to Hel).

Response

Now, this sounds really great, but it's also the same story as the Army Of The Dead from Lord Of The Rings: The Return Of The King, so you'll be forgiven for being suspicious.

The existence of Valhalla does present interesting possibilities, but it's probably unlikely, to be honest.
