19. Tony Was Made Thinner With CGI

When we catch up with Tony Stark (Robert Downey Jr.), he's spent more than three weeks drifting in deep space with Nebula (Karen Gillan) and, naturally, he's lost a significant amount of weight as a result.

Though audiences might've assumed that this effect was achieved through trick photography or clever costume design intended to make Tony look more gaunt, it was actually one of the movie's more subtle visual effects.

Indeed, weight was shaved off of Downey's frame in post-production to make him look more emaciated, but even when you know, the results are virtually impossible to pick out.
