18. Pepper Becomes Rescue

Pepper Potts (Gwyneth Paltrow) gets her most interesting MCU appearance to date in Endgame, for though she doesn't have a ton of screen time, she sure makes the most of it.

Pepper arrives in the movie's third act, kitted out in her Rescue armour which was hinted at in the first act, where her daughter Morgan was seen playing with it.

After spending so long on the sidelines despite Rescue being nodded to as far back as 2013's Iron Man 3, it was great to see Pepper and Tony fighting Thanos' army back-to-back, even if only for a brief moment.

And though Pepper comforting Tony during his final moments certainly came close, seeing Rescue on the big screen just barely tops it.
