10. Black Panther

Black Panther was released in February and, ever since, has taken the cinematic world by storm. Marvel’s most ambitious character yet was actually introduced two years ago in Civil War, where he played a key role in helping Iron Man and Captain America establish the truth about villain Zemo.

And, despite his character being nearly two years old already, we are only just getting started. T’Challa managed to fend off Killmonger for the throne in his solo movie and the prospect of somebody else occupying it anytime soon seems unlikely. Even if Wakanda is set to come under-fire in Infinity War.

T’Challa looks set to be a prominent figure for many years to come and has even been tipped to be the Avengers’ new tech king if Tony Stark is killed by Thanos. Chadwick Boseman signed a five-film deal when he became the character two years ago, and this will be his third outing. Black Panther 2 is due to be released at some point - in Phase 4 most likely - and that means the Wakandan King isn’t going anywhere anytime soon.
